Moore Misadventures

Travel involves more than strutting out of your house and having the journey of a lifetime. There are flights to get on, sights to see, directions to remember, itineraries to build. To make travel simple, I strategically designed itinerary templates that keep all travel information in one place.

The main goal of this project was to create a customizable user-focused document that enables travelers to explore without added stress. A secondary goal was to serve as a travel planner. For the latter, I included placeholder text that guides the user to fill it in and plan their trip.

A challenge with this project was in creating a design that would be simple to use across diverse audiences and various types of travelers. In the end, I decided to create two options: a highly-detailed template for travel planners, and a more simple template for those interested in a quick-use product.

I owned the entire process: user research, UX design, UX writing, product design, and product management.

This project included:

• Used UX design elements to create an easy-to-use product

• Created three size options for each template to accommodate both mobile and desktop users

• Designed templates in Canva to allow users access to a simple design system

• Created an in-depth user guide for Canva including coach marks and clear labels

• Utilized principles of UX writing to pitch the product and increase sales
