when to visit
East Asia
The optimal time to visit China, Japan and South Korea are in the spring (late-March through May) and fall (September to early-November).
Southeast Asia
For most of the mainland countries, April and November offer pleasant temps due to being on the cusp of the wet and dry seasons. For Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore, May and September are ideal.
Central Asia
This is a tricky region as it can be ideal year-round depending on your activities. Across the board, however, the months of September and October are a good bet.
West Asia
Shoulder season, September to November, is ideal as the crowds dissipate and the heat eases up.
Average Costs
