Camino De santiago Walking Stages
Stage-by-Stage Guides
These guides offer a day-by-day summary of the Camino del Norte and the Camino Primitivo, two routes of the Camino de Santiago, a pilgrimage across Spain.
For those planning their own camino, these guides are invaluable planning tools. And I, of course, recommend that anyone do a camino, whether for a few days or for the whole 500-mile undertaking.
My Route
In August 2022, I walked the Camino del Norte which follows Spain’s northern coastline. With about 100 miles to go, I diverted from this route and popped onto the Camino Primitivo. This is the original route and it traverses through the mountains before ending in Santiago de Compostela.
Please note that I began the Camino del Norte in San Sebastian (Stage 1) rather than the traditional starting point of Irun.
